The Tartan Cape

Look who's back to blogging! Since this is the first weekend I've had off in about 4 months I thought id finally get a start up on my blogging again. It's so hard to take blog photos since the days get dark so quickly now! I thought id kick things back off with a piece that I've been wearing non stop since I bought it a few weeks ago. Capes are slowly taking over all the shops this season and I couldn't be more obsessed with them! This fab one is from River Island and actually comes with a fur collar which you can attach to it if you want as well. Today I tied the cape around the waist from a simple black and gold belt from penneys to give it a bit more shape.

Mini Lush Haul

I have to admit a few years ago when I was asked what I thought about Lush I would have said it was a pretty overrated shop by almost every beauty blogger on the earth, but after trying a few products from them in the past few months I've become a little obsessed. I practically walk past Lush every day coming home from college so it's wayyy to tempting for me to go in...I picked up these over the past few days!

P.S these new little Charity Pots that Lush are selling are only €1 and all of the money goes to charity, these little hand/body lotions are perfect for popping in your bag to bring around and use during the day..it also smells AMAZING and the money goes to charity so why not?!

The Midi Dress

I have to say that I never really would have gone for a midi style dress before cause I thought they wouldn't be that flattering on me, but when I saw the print on this one I just had to have it in my wardrobe! Tropical prints are definitely my favourite prints for summer but this one has a bit of a different twist with gorgeous bright pink and orange shades in it. And the dress is actually a lot more flattering than I expected! It makes your ass look pretty good which is always a plus too...

The Maxi Kimono • Ft Missguided

I think this tropical printed maxi kimono from Missguided has to be one of my best summer finds so far. It's so perfect for any occasion whether you're sunbathing on the beach or shopping out in the sun. It's also perfect to throw on those cool summer nights and takes up practically none of that all important suitcase space!

I'm gonna sound like such a loser but this playsuit makes me feel like someone out of the sound of music or something! Lol..the bell sleeves give it a real 'hippy' vibe which is perfect for summer. I also really like the legs on this playsuit cause theyre so flowy and flattering!

I don't know what it is about birkinstocks this year but they're like my new obsession! One of the reasons is proabably because they're so comfy! I already have a pair of these ones but in a holographic pink from missguided and I wear them all the time..so these white ones will sure get a whole lot of wear too!

I only realised recently that I actually have never owned a white bag. This duffle style bag is actually really different for me as well but the shoulder strap on it makes it so easy to carry around! It's also the perfect size as it fits everything you need in it for every day but without it being too big! So if you're thinking of investing in a new bag for summer for travelling, the beach etc, I'd definitely reccommend this one! (They also have it in a fab pale pink too!)

The Gingham Dress

So I was sent this beaut white and pink gingham dress from MotelRocks about a month ago and after wearing it numorous times I realised that I had never actually done a full blog post on it! This kind of dress and pattern was a bit more out of my comfort zone but I'm trying to have more prints in my wardrobe to make my outfits that little bit more interesting, and this dress definitely does that. The only thing I would say I don't like about the dress is the material is very light and especially for the price of €50! But I will admit that I've gotten a good bit of wear out of it so far so it could be worth it for you! I think this dress would be PERFECT for a festival because it's easy to throw on and so so comfy, plus it won't have you sweating with the heat but shivering with the cold either. Just throw on a flower crown and a fringed kimono and you're ready to go! If you wanna check out the dress on the MotelRocks website you can click on the link below!

The Midi Rings

I have to say I love jewellery and I have so so much of it but most of the time when I'm going out I just wanna keep it simple. The two pieces of jewellery you'll see me wearing every day are my watch and a few dainty little rings. I love the look of loads of stacking simple rings it just looks so effortless but so pretty. Not gonna lie I also just really like how they look with my tattoo as well!

The lovely people at MYU fashion sent me these gorgeous 3 rings the other day which is just what I wanted! I'm always looking to grow my collection of rings! They stock lots and lots of different styles of rings for £3 each so you can mix and match which ones you like best! Perfect! My favourite one would have to be the one with the tiny little white heart on it..so cute! I actually found when I was out looking for rings like these that they were harder to find than I expected and when I did find them they came in packs of about 10 which is great but only if you wanna spend about €15 on them! Yes Topshop..I'm pointing at you..So if you're like me and love rings as much as I do if definitely recommend checking out MYU fashion for some great pieces at even better prices! They sell all of their stuff on depop @myufashion and they also stock some gorgeous clothing..I have my eye on some amazing pastel pieces hehe

Ease My Mind

Uh oh..another one of them 'all black' outfit days! I completely forgot I had this American Apparel style bodysuit from Missguided and when I saw it in my wardrobe the other day I instantly rekindled my love for it! Of course I've got my new mom jeans on as they're my new LOVE! I'm actually just realising now that this entire outfit is from Missguided lol! I should have shares in that shop seriously! P.S excuse my hair...it's second day hair and I was not bothered to do anything with it!

Also..I've moved my room around a tiny bit and I now have this space where I've taken my last two outfit post pics. It's actually really handy for taking pics when the weather is pretty shitty outside! Which is almost every other day in Ireland..

The 'Mom' Jeans

This is just gonna be a super quick ootd post as I was in a rush out the door and didn't have any time to take any more photos!

I ordered these black mom jeans the other week from Missguided cause I felt like I just wanted to have something different in my wardrobe apart from skinny jeans. I have to say I'm really impressed by missguided's take on the mom jeans especially since I was very close to just waiting to buy some Topshop ones when I had the money. I decided to go for black as they were my first pair of mom jeans and I wanted to ease myself into them lol. They are a tiny bit big around the waist on me but I actually prefer it because it means I can wear belts with them, giving them a kind of vintage-look. So if you're thinking of investing in a pair of mom jeans I would definitely check out missguided because they have lots more colours and acid washes etc and all for under €40!

I am so happy I can now add this 5fashionuk kimono to my collection. If you know me you know that I wear kimonos basically everyday during the summer and if I'm not wearing one it's probably in my bag with me. This is my first floral print one and I'm already so obsessed. The colours in it are so pretty and summery and it goes with so much! I'm trying to mix some of my prints up these days but we'll see how that goes! All of the items I spotted on 5fashionuk's website were so affordable but so on trend as well. They also have super quick delivery to Ireland too which I was also very happy about!

Launch of new look Inglot Blanchardstown Store

So the other day i attended the launch of the new-look Inglot store in Blanchardstown.
The fabulous new store has a total of 10 make-up stations and even has a lash bar..sounds like my kinda place! There is also a lot more space for them to hold masterclasses and on the launch night they held one for us bloggers which was so fun to watch! Its amazing the few tips you can pick up just from one class! On the night, Inglot were also launching some new products including their new Freedom System Fragrances. These are basically a line of 5 floral fruity creamy perfumes which are fragrances with light, fresh notes that can be used separately or mixed to create your own unique fragrance composition! I tried out all the scents and the 'Golden Wood' was deffo my fave! so fresh and summery!

There was also a masterclass showing how to achieve a gorgeous, sun-kissed makeup look with a brown smokey eye from one of model Victoria Bonya's collection of looks featuring Inglot products. The look was done by one of Inglot Blanchardstown's artists Melissa on the stunning Chloe. I really loved watching how to achieve this look because i usually go for brown smokey eyes cause i really think they compliment brown eyes. But after seeing the look with blue eyes i realized how much it makes blue eyes pop as well!

While i was at the event i asked about finding a new foundation which suits my oily-type skin. I feel like especially since the weather is hotter my skin has been getting a lot more oily after a while of being out! :( i decided to try out their YCM foundation and will deffo let you guys know what i think of it soon! i had only bought a few products from Inglot before but after seeing some of their stuff used in this makeup look it really made me want to try out more of their products! i think my next purchase will have to be the gel eyeliner used in this look..bye bye liquid eyeliner!
